Brilliant performance by two Enderby teams to finish top of their Tennis Leicestershire Indoor Tennis Winter Leagues. Also great to see that four Enderby I team members (Nicola, Amelie, Owen and Matt W) finished in the top four of the individual player performance for their league and three of the Enderby 2 players (Luca, Matt S and Andjelka) finished in positions 2 to 4.

Each team consisted of four players, two women and two men. Each match consisted of four 40 minute timed rubbers, the winner being the team with the most games at the end of the time period. The rubbers were men v men, women v women, then two mixed rubbers.

All the matches were played using the top class courts at the Loughborough University. The facilities are used by elite players, including those on the LTA National Tennis Academy programme, and hosts a number of high level tennis events each year, it was great to play in such excellent conditions.

A massive thank you to Lee and Alastair, who cooked up a great BBQ, and also to anyone who provided extra nibbles, or came to support/watch the tennis, it was great to see such a big turnout for the event.

Congratulations to Tina, Andjelka, Lynne and Sarah F for their amazing performance in the 2025-26 LVTA season.

The 36th annual LVLTA (Leicestershire Veteran Ladies Tennis Association) dinner and AGM had an Enderby representation in 2026. Flying the flag for the club were doubles pairs of Tina and Andjelka, Lynne and Sarah (F). Both pairs were celebrating successful 2025-26 campaigns, winning all their matches, topping their respective divisions and taking home a prize.

The dinner and AGM, held on 15th April at Glen Gorse Golf Club, was very well attended by ladies from lots of clubs all over Leicestershire. The 2026-27 campaign kicks off later in the year and it would be great to see even more Enderby ladies taking part. The LVLTA is run by volunteers "for the love of tennis" and to raise money for charity. More information can be found on the website https://lvlta.com/

🚨 Play Your Way to Wimbledon is BACK!! 🚨

Take this as your reminder to enter online for a day filled with fun as you try to win your way to Wimbledon! 🎾🍓

The tournament is free to enter but we won't say no if you wish to pay us back with baked goods, for a bake sale where all money earned will go to the club🧁

The 19+ men's and women's doubles tournaments are taking place on Sunday 26th April 10:30 onwards, and the boy's tournament is on Sunday 17th May, also most likely 10:30 onwards (subject to change).

Before entering please make sure your WTN is within the following bracket, and you fit the right age category:
- 19+ doubles (born 2007 or earlier): 25.0-40.9
- 11-18 doubles (born 2008-2015): 28.0-40.9
- 11-14 singles (born 2012-2015): 32.0-40.9

Congratulations to the Enderby Women's I team (Amelie, Tina, Nicola, April, Andjelka, Sarah and Lynne) who won Winter Division 3B. Nicola and Amelie were presented the winners certificate by James Keothavong, the Grand Slam and Olympics umpire, at the Tennis Leicestershire Awards Ceremony.

The Leicestershire Awards Evening on Monday 23 Feb will include the Enderby Women's I team receive their Winter League 2025/26 winners certificate.

Everyone is welcome to join the annual celebration of tennis in Leicestershire with Special guest James Keothavong.

The event will be held in the Champions Suite, Leicester Tigers Stadium. Bar is open from 6:30pm, event start 6:45pm.
