Aylestone St. James RFC was founded in 1902, and the coming season marks 125 years of the club

Over the summer and into the season, we’ll be sharing bits from the club’s history, old team photos, updates on pre-season, fixtures, events and everything going on at Covert Lane

Pre-season training starts Thursday 25th June with a player meeting and training session on 27th June

Aylestone St James RFC are recruiting a men’s Head Coach to deliver the club’s objectives for the 2026/27 season and beyond

We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced men’s Head Coach to help us compete in the National League pyramid

We are looking for a coach who will be pro-active in delivering on the club aims, with the support of the committee and senior playing members.

We have a desire to bring through a new generation of players who are after a fun, friendly and competitive brand of rugby.

A Level 2 coaching certificate (or international equivalent) is required

We own and operate our own multi-use clubhouse, which gives us a great platform to contribute to the local community and offer something many clubs in the area cannot

This meeting will include:

- Approval of 2025 AGM minutes
- Election of directors
- Election of officers
- Annual reports
- Approval of accounts

All members are encouraged to attend

An action-packed day kicks off tomorrow at Covert Lane as we host the England Lacrosse club finals

The sun will be out, the bar will be open, and all are welcome to come and watch some top level sport

This Sunday Covert Lane will host the England Lacrosse National Club Finals
