Learn to sail starting this weekend! We are running an adult learn-to-sail course over two consecutive weekends. As with all our courses, this qualification endorsed by the RYA, the governing body for sailing. The £170 cost includes all relevant books and certificates. You must take part on all four dates (May 16, 17, 23 and 24) to complete the course. See in the comments or on our website for how to book.

The boats are ready, the paddleboards are laid out, and we have plenty of buoyancy aids - so what are you waiting for? Syston Sailing Club's annual open day is today (Saturday 09 May), from 10am to 4pm. All rides are free.

Saturday is the first Splash and Sail of the season at Syston Sailing Club. It is free for the children of club members, £5 each for the children of non-members but you MUST book places in advance: email the club. Please send children, aged 7+, with a towel, change of clothes, and footwear which will get wet. It takes place 10am to noon.
Future sessions will be: June 20, July 11, August 08, August 22, and September 05.

Congratulations Dave, Ray, Steve, and Vaida, who took their first steps in their sailing careers by completing a Level 1 course at Syston Sailing Club this month.

A bright and breezy day for racing today. Only a brave few took to the water. Fortunately our new safety boat was on hand in case of mishaps.
