💙💛 THE LAST DANCE 💙💛

The Oldest Fixture. The 220th Edition.

On Saturday 19th September, Barwell CC welcome Coventry & North Warwickshire for the 220th edition of one of the oldest fixtures in cricket.

This year’s fixture will also be our Past Players Day, giving former Barwell players the chance to return to the club, catch up with old teammates and enjoy an afternoon of cricket.

We’ll be firing up the BBQ throughout the day, with good food, good company and hopefully a great game of cricket to celebrate this historic fixture.

Whether you played for Barwell last season or decades ago, we’d love to see you there.💙💛🔥

PURNELLS PACESETTERS

Your starting 11 as Purnells (Adam Purnell Estate Agents - Hinckley) pacesetters look to secure the 3peat and retain the trophy under the careful guidance of captain James Dillon .

Known for his liberal interpretation of the rules, all eyes will be on James this year to see what loop holes he can find!

BURTS BASHERS

A young and hungry team, Burts (Colin Burton ) Bashers will be looking to score quick runs and take the game away from the opposition.

Watchful eyes of Ellis Hewins overseeing captaincy of this explosive team, no easy task for anyone to captain Nick Hines on a good day!

STEBBIE BOYS

Local rivals looking to pop the others to the mark, StapletonCC are here to take names and wickets alike!

Led by ex-Barwell youth prospect Ollie Aldrich, Stapleton could prove to be a dark horse in this tournament!

💸CHARITY DAY SCHEDULE💸

It’s time for the Seagulls to return for their 5th Annual Charity Cricket day on Sunday 30/08/2026!

In aid of a fantastic cause in A Gift To Lift , the Seagulls are a bunch of mates (and a couple of ringers) looking to once again raise loads of change for a charity that is close to their hearts!

Providing the weather holds out, here is your fixture list for the day!

Come down and throw a couple of pennies towards the day and enjoy the celebrations, whether it be indoor or outdoor!

THIRD XI WIN

Last game at home, not wanting to go out without a bang, the Thirds come up trumps!

Huge result and plenty of action today for all-rounder(?!) Tommy Wright . Results elsewhere mean that unfortunately the Thirds have been relegated, but everyone loves a comeback story!
