University of Leicester Cycling Society

Hi all, our first ride of the new term is this weekend Sunday at 1pm outside the Charles Wilson Building.

We'll do the same ten mile route that we did for the freshers' ride in case anybody is coming along to try out the society for the first time and just to get back into the swing of things.

- Andy will be leading the first fast ride next Wednesday for anybody who fancies a more competitive run.

Hey everybody, hope your exams and assignments all went alright! The committee should be meeting this weekend and we'll have regular rides up and running when it's a bit less treacherous outside, so keep your eyes on the page!

No riding today owing to the rubbish weather! Fingers crossed for tomorrow - 12 mile route out to Great Glen and back through the suburbs of Oadby.

Hi all, unfortunately there will be no fast ride this Saturday as nobody is able to lead it. The same would be true for the slower ride but a member has offered to step in and run one.

Critical mass is this weekend!
This is a huge, open bike ride (normally about 200 cyclists) around the city, followed by a trip to the pub.
Halloween costumes are encouraged!

Hi all, I'm running the ride tomorrow.
The planned route goes to Houghton-on-the-Hill and Ingarsby just past Leicester Airport, avoiding the A47 as much as possible. Depending on the spirit we can cruise around in the Sun, through Billesdon for my favourite piece of countryside Leicester has to offer, and then back into Leicester.
Should be a nice day in the sun. I'll be outside 'Delicious' from approx. 2:00 leaving for 2:15
