Today, we missed a legend. 💙🩵

As part of our 20th anniversary celebrations, we were honoured to welcome Katy Edgington back to Western Park, where she shared a very special moment with us by scattering some of Alan’s ashes at the diamond.

Alan was a huge part of the Leicester Blue Sox story. He led the club to one of its proudest moments, skippering our 2017 Double-A National Championship-winning team, and his contribution to the club will always be remembered.

At the end of the day, we also formally retired his #68 jersey — a lasting tribute to someone who will forever be part of the Blue Sox family.

Thank you, Katy, for allowing us to share such a deeply meaningful moment.

Rest easy, Alan.
#68 forever.
