A great day out at the commonwealth games to see the squash. Sadly no one from new parks qualified, but there's always Victoria 2026 😊

New Parks 2nd Team made a great start to the season last night with a win against Hinckley Squash 5!

We would just like to take the opportunity to say a big thank you for everyone who has supported us with the petition lately! We have heard that the centre will open, however when it does is another question. So let’s keep this petition growing to show how much of an impact the centre has on the community!

It brings us all at New Parks great sadness to announce the unfortunate passing of Professor Tony Gershlick, a fantastic friend and long standing member of the club.

As many will know, Tony had built a wonderful career as world leading consultant cardiologist, and professor of interventional cardiology. As you can imagine he has impacted many peoples lives for the better. Certainly many around the Leicestershire area.

Tony was a much loved, vibrant character around the club who had never stopped supporting and participating in events over the years.

For sure, Tony will be sorely missed at New Parks, our thoughts are with Tony’s family and friends in these very difficult times.

To all at new parks that may not know but the sad news is one of our regular members & a friend sadly passed away.

New Parks Lesuire Centre is now open again! The squash courts are bookable between 16:00 and 21:00 (last booking available is 20:10) week days 😊.

IMPORTANT NEWS - PLEASE READ.

Due to the current circumstances and advice we are being given daily it seems appropriate for us to cancel the forthcoming Leicestershire County O35 and O45 Championships at this stage.

The events were due to take place over the next 2 weeks at Leicester Squash Club, however in an effort to help the whole situation we must do our bit too.

Thank you to everyone who entered and thanks to Leicester Squash Club for offering to host it. Take this time to continue your training as hopefully we will run them at a later stage this year.

New Parks 2nd team will be playing Huncote 3 tomorrow evening at New Parks Leisure Centre. Please pop down and support the team!
