A competitive local derby against Blaby & Whetstone saw the Vixens put in another strong performance despite falling to a narrow 2–1 defeat.

A positive start with Bella-Rose going close early on, before Blaby took the lead. The team responded well and gradually grew into the game, creating chances and showing plenty of attacking intent.

New signing Sadie made an impressive debut, featuring in both midfield and defence and showing great determination and strength throughout.

The equaliser came through excellent individual work from Sienna, who beat her defender down the right before delivering a dangerous cross for Orla to finish superbly! Blaby later regained the lead, but the Vixens continued to push right until the final whistle missing out on a share of the points.

🏅 Player of the Match – Laila
A superb defensive display from Laila, who worked tirelessly throughout and handled a constant threat from Blaby’s right winger with energy, focus and determination.

A positive performance from the Vixens against a tough opponent. The focus now remains on building confidence, staying positive and continuing to improve. Well done, Vixens! 🔴⚽

A tough first game at Home for the Vixens vs North Kilworth. There were positive spells where they controlled the play but couldn’t convert their chances. Despite the setback, the team can take valuable experience from the match and use it to build greater focus, determination and team spirit.

Sienna showed great energy and determination on the right wing, while Erin worked tirelessly in midfield and was rewarded with a fantastic strike from the edge of the box.

🏅 Player of the Match – Bella H
Bella demonstrated excellent defensive work throughout, making important clearances and interceptions. She also showed great commitment late in the game when asked to cover the defensive line as the team pushed forward.

The Vixens will regroup, reset and move on to the next challenge.
Up the Vixens ⚽️❤️🖤

The Vixens had a tough start to the season today against Anstey Nomads away. In the first half the girls were incredibly competitive, played great football and believed in their ability. As the game continued into the second half Anstey played longer balls and capitalised on the opportunities they presented.
The Vixens showed great spirit today and particular congratulations goes to our POTM - Neave! She adapted brilliantly to playing out of her normal position, was strong, won challenges, showed great determination and gave everything for her team. Well done Neave ❤️⚽️🙌
