More silverware for the Leicester Ivanhoe Cricket Club Academy! 🏆

The clubs final fixture of the year took place at home on Sunday as our U19s faced Barrow in the U19s plate final.

Our boys came out as deserved winners as they won by 4 wickets and secured promotion to the U19s Cup competition next year.

A great achievement that caps off a wonderful year for the academy, this being their 4th title, a great send off for James Bancroft who leaves his post at the end of this season.

For the last time in 2026! Your Leicester Ivanhoe team news!

The 1st XI return to Hinckley Road to face Houghton & Thurnby in their final fixture of this year’s Premier Division. Despite last week’s disappointment, there is still hope that a first place finish can be achieved.

The 2nd XI travel to Cosby in a bid to finish the season at the top of Premier 3 and achieve promotion in what would be a truly deserved finish.

On Sunday, the U19s host Barrow in the U19 plate final. An ideal final fixture in what has been another incredibly successful season for the Leicester Ivanhoe Academy. Good luck to all involved and the club hope to end the season with more silverware 🏆

Congratulations to the Leicester Ivanhoe u15s who became back to back league champions on Sunday💚💜

The side defeated Lutterworth Cricket Club in a brilliant game with just 6 balls to spare! A.Roberts stared with the ball with figures of 2-20 off his 4 overs before K. Patel (45*) and O. Waseem (21*) guided the side to victory with the bat!

Congratulations to all the players, coaches and parents! 💚💜

Last night capped another wonderful summer of cricket for the Leicester Ivanhoe Academy, sponsored by Sylvian Domiciliary Care.

Many awards and celebrations for our thriving junior section who have achieved more success.

On top of it all, a very sad goodbye to James Bancroft, our Junior Coordinator and architect of our current junior programme. James took on the role when our junior cricket was on the verge of collapse and has steered the club in a new and successful direction. We wish James all the best and thank him for his dedicated service.

Thank you James.

THE BUSINESS END OF THE SEASON 🔥

With just two matches remaining, both Leicester Ivanhoe’s 1st XI and 2nd XI sit at the top of their respective leagues.

The 1st XI travel to Shepshed for another important Premier Division fixture. With the season entering its final stages, the focus is firmly on maintaining the standards and performances that have put the side in such a strong position.

The 2nd XI are back at home as they continue their Premier 3 South campaign. Sitting top with two games remaining, the side will be looking to put in another strong performance and build on an excellent season so far.

Two teams. Two league-leading positions. Two huge fixtures.

We would love to see plenty of support for both sides as the season reaches its final stages.
