Over the summer school break try to be as consistent as you can!
Reduce volume, go on holiday, all good, but try not to disappear for 4-6 weeks because;
We find those who keep consistent keep progressing well when things return to normality without a dip.
Those who stop, come back and take weeks to get back to where they were before the break.
Often it can take as long as you’ve been off (sometimes longer) to get back to where you were before the break. So a month off can mean 2 months of no progression!
Many of our students are abroad for the full summer, if this is you then try to remember;
When you’re not in class, you can still train! Maintain flexibility, keep active, be healthy, practice your combos and come back sharp 👌🏻
Don’t let the summer undo your hard work!
