Proud of this groups display yesterday

A really tough result to take.
Facing against a side unbeaten in the league can often feel like a mammoth task but our boys came out ready to battle.

Going into half time with a 1-0 lead and the opposition missing two penalties before the break the opposition came at us second half but it came down to the third penalty of the game for Birstall to score and equalise.

The game went to extra time and Birstall caught our tired legs on a break and scored a winner.
An end to end game that could have gone either win.

The loss hurts as the lads gave everything.

Our Thurmaston DPC Women’s section is hosting another FREE Girls Training Session and we’d love to see lots of new faces there! 💫

This session is part of our Female Pathway Partnership with Asfordby FC, helping create more opportunities for girls to get into football and develop their game in a fun, supportive environment ⚽

Stay afterwards to cheer on our Thurmaston DPC Vixens as they take on East Goscote Women with a 2pm kick-off! 🙌

We’re looking for:
