Monday Motivation
Yes, summer is here despite the grey sky and damp weather. The big coat came out again over the weekend 🤦🏿♂️
Motivation isn't something that magically appears on sunny days. It's built through the small decisions you make when conditions aren't perfect.

To perform your optimum at running there are 4 key components
Your running training program specific to your goals our experienced coach Ian Paramore will create you bespoke training programs
Nutrition plays a major part of your training to ensure you maintain health, fuel correctly for training and recovery, along with ensuring there is a race fuel strategy. Our very experienced dietitian and sports nutritionists Kristian Bravin will work with you to create your nutrition plan to ensure optimum health and performance
Strength, conditioning and performance fitness is an integral part of your training program to help improve your strength, fitness and performance whilst reducing the risk of injuries our experienced personal trainer and performance coach Bridie will create you plans of runners specific exercises to improve your performance and reduce risk of injuries and you can choose one to one or small group training.
Recovery is important to and our sports massage therapist GeneRate Sports Massage Therapy can provide you with regular maintenance massage and pre/post race massage.
An additional part of our recovery services is our performance flow yoga to help improve flexibility and relax the mind from the hard training programs. Our yoga instructorHayley Thorne Chester Happy Pause Yoga will guide you through the flow to help you feel more flexible and relaxed in mind

A massive well done to our client Rebecca running a PB at Cheshire Half marathon at the weekend
Rebecca has been having a one to one personal training session each week, plus attending our runners specific groups training sessions each week.
As part of her personal training we devised a plan to help her achieve the goal of a pb, this also included nutrition and we practiced strategies of taking on fuel during long runs and daily hydration to ensure Rebecca was fully prepared for race day
The community of Darcy Fitness Runners continues to grow and I see this each week in the running group training and our community what’s app groups
