A superb result for Birstall Men’s 1st Team, who made it three wins from three with a brilliant 5.5–0.5 victory over previously unbeaten Charnwood Forest.

In testing conditions, the team produced a real statement performance to move to the top of the division.

There was more good news in the County Men’s Foursomes too, as Birstall beat a strong Kibworth side 3 up overall to progress to a home quarter-final against local rivals Rothley Park on Wednesday 8th July.

Next up: Willesley Park away on Thursday 18th June. Supporters very welcome!

With women’s golf in the spotlight this month, it’s a great time to celebrate the ladies’ section at Birstall and encourage more women to get involved.
