Come with me to Ashmore Grange Care Home🍀

Today, I delivered a Seated Fitness session at the beautiful Ashmore Grange on the New Lubbesthorpe estate. Together, we moved through mobility, light cardio, strength, and flexibility exercises, and we added some extra fun with mini balls and resistance bands.

With a St. Patrick’s Day theme, the session was full of laughter, movement, and smiles. Everyone gave it their all—and let’s be honest, we were all ready for a nice cup of tea afterwards! ☕

It was such a joy connecting with the residents—I hope they enjoyed it as much as I did! 💚

Happy Thursday from me in the studio ☀️

Just a little roundup of what’s on the agenda today…

This morning I have two 1-1 clients – both very busy ladies carving out some well-deserved time for themselves to work on their strength and flexibility 💪

Then it’s onto some client write-ups for the new ladies I’ve been training this week.

After that I’ll be putting the finishing touches to Fitness Pilates Flow, which launches tonight! I honestly can’t wait to bring you this one… especially with the sunshine streaming in today ✨

Last night we also had the relaunch of Mama & Mini, and I’ll be doing a little giveaway over on this page in the next couple of days 👀

What’s on the agenda today in the studio ✨
A real mix of sessions today and a good reminder that no two days ever look the same.

Starting with a 1:1 focused on gently rebuilding core strength and creating space for time that’s just for them.

Then a session centred around pain management and recovery, working carefully around a specific health condition.

And finishing the day with a small group session — big leg burn, strong abs, and that feel-good effort all round.

Different goals, different needs — always tailored to you 💫

This morning was a quick run-through of the new Body Pump here in the studio. You know how much I advocate Pilates, but I’m also a massive advocate of lifting weights too.

For me, just works — it always has for my body type. The high repetitions with lighter weights give me exactly the look I want, and doing it all to music is a huge thing for me. It genuinely motivates me and makes me want to move.

I only teach one Body Pump class a week at Nuffield now, as my time in the gym is more limited while I focus on my community classes and one-to-ones, but I’ll always be a huge advocate of strength training. We actually use weights quite often in my Pilates sessions too — strength has a place everywhere.

I tend to train with weights 3–4 times a week — twice through classes and then 1–2 of my own training sessions. That balance works perfectly for me alongside Pilates.
