We couldn’t resist re-sharing this short film from the National Forest Way 75 2026. An incredible day packed with amazing runners, brilliant volunteers, fantastic supporters and some seriously beautiful trails. ❤️

And now it’s time to do it all again…

🌳NATIONAL FOREST WAY ULTRA 75 — 8 MAY 2027

75 miles. 3 counties. 1 incredible journey.

Starting at Alrewas Showground, the route takes you through Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire, finishing at Beacon Hill Country Park.

You’ll have fully stocked checkpoints, medical support, GPS tracking, free race photography and a 24-hour cut-off to help you take on the challenge.

Prefer to share the miles? The race is also available as a 3-person team relay, with each runner covering a minimum of 20 miles before the team comes together for the final mile.

The race is an official UTMB Index 100K event, giving your result an internationally recognised performance score.

But this isn’t just about the distance.

It’s about the trails, the people, the stories and the memories you’ll make along the way.

And, of course… being the first to the Beacon. 🔥

We’ve crunched the numbers…

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Ben Nevis - 7.5 laps
🇫🇷 Mont Blanc - 27 laps
🇹🇿 Kilimanjaro - 33 laps
🇳🇵 Everest - 49 laps

And with each lap covering 6.71 km + 180m elevation, Everest would mean nearly 329 km of running…that’s mega bragging rights

Think 75 or 100 miles sounds like a lot? You don’t have to take it on alone. 👊

The National Forest Way Ultra 75 and The Round 100 can both be tackled as a team relay! So grab your running crew and take on the challenge together.

🏃 NFW Ultra 75 — 3 runners, 75 miles, 3 counties.
🏃 The Round 100 — 4 runners, 100 miles, one county-all the way round.

Each team member must complete a minimum of 20 miles, with changeovers taking place at designated checkpoints. And when you reach the final mile, the whole team can come together to run into the finish as one. 🙌

You get the ultra experience, the epic trails and the finish-line feeling-just shared with your team.
