If we tipped out your gym bag, what would we find in it?

A great way of releasing stress is to write it down - let it go by getting it on paper. Or turn it on it's head and write down what you are grateful for each day, think about the positives.

We're fairly bad at getting a good level of Vitamin D due to the low amount of sunshine we get in this country. So if you would like a good way to get yours adding an 84g serving of mushrooms to your daily diet is a tasty way to do it. That's what new research in the journal Food Science & Nutrition has found. You'll also get a good amount of fibre and a negligible amount of calories, salt or fat.
You can have them as an addition to all sorts of meals, such as in a stir fry, chopped up in soups or Bolognese, as an added vegetable with chicken or in stews and with cream cheese in an omelette.
I'd love to know what your favourite meal is with mushrooms.

Boundaries are a form of self-care. When you set boundaries, you are taking care of yourself. You are recognising what you need and asking for it.
Boundaries can help to manage your stress such as by saying no to working overtime or when you put your phone on do-not-disturb to avoid annoying sales calls.
If you don’t set boundaries, you’re likely to become resentful and exhausted. Without boundaries, you’ll absorb other people’s feelings, you’ll overwork, allow others to take advantage of your kindness, and eventually this will negatively impact your physical and mental health.
However when you set boundaries, you’re taking care of your physical and emotional needs.

We do love a squat. It's a great move for building strong glutes which help you to push yourself up out of chairs and off the sofa. Strong glutes mean that you can pick things up without straining your back. And we'd all like to have a nicely shaped bottom too.
What's your favourite move and why?

According to Women's Health Magazine there is an actual ratio of fruit and vegetables to get your five a day. A new study, published in the journal Circulation, has revealed the optimal breakdown is two pieces of fruit and three of veg. If you eat more than 5 a day, simply scale up the fruit to veg ratio. This ratio will reap the life-lengthening effects of their nutrients.

Eat More Veg
Your mother was right when she told you to eat your greens, especially if you are trying to lose weight, it's a winner. Foods such as dark leafy greens like kale, spinach, romaine lettuce, asparagus and broccoli contain folate, a B vitamin which can encourage weight loss.
It is thought that folate helps to steady blood insulin levels, encouraging the body to burn fat rather than store it.
Other good sources of folate include citrus foods, beans, peas, lentils, seeds and nuts so you don't have to restrict your folate intake to just greens.
Don't let lockdown have an adverse affect on your weight or sugar balance, make a great decision and eat some greens.
