Hi Everyone

I qualified as a registered nurse (BSC) from Kings College London in 2006. I worked as a community nurse for four years and then progressed to a Diabetes Specialist Nurse. I have been working as a community DSN for 12 years and was team lead for a period of time. My day to day work involves group education for patients and health care professionals and managing clinical complex cases.

I am a advanced nurse practitioner (MSC) and non medical prescriber. I have a formal qualification in teaching and assessing and also have a post graduate diploma in NHS leadership.

I was also awarded a Queens Nurse Award for my commitment to diabetes care in the community.

I have had type one diabetes for 30 years and I am confident in starting and reviewing patients on insulin pumps, CGM and flash monitoring.

Education is my passion! Hence I have set up DICE: Diabetes, Inform, Care and Educate. I have and can facilitate learning in a comfortable secure environment at your convenience at a low cost. Please contact me for more information
