Thirteen years on from the world-famous Mark Armitage pirouette hit wicket, the Armitage name is back making headlines at Eastwood CC!

Congratulations to Charlotte Armitage on making her senior hard ball debut for the 4th XI against Tillingham Cricket Club. She produced a tidy bowling spell of 5 overs, 1 maiden, 16 runs, before showing great composure with 11 not out* to help guide Eastwood to a four-wicket victory.

A fantastic debut and the start of what we hope will be a long and successful hardball cricketing journey! 💙🏏

On this edition of Meet The Vixens we have Kimberley Howell

Kim is a fun, enthusiastic and family-oriented member of the Eastwood Vixens who joined the club after deciding to rediscover herself following life's challenges.

A self-confessed cricket lover with a great sense of humour, she admits her batting style is "close my eyes and hope for the best," while her bowling is still a work in progress!

Away from cricket, she enjoys creating new experiences with her young family, hosting games nights with friends, and the occasional bottle of bubbly.

Kim brings plenty of personality, positivity and team spirit to the Vixens which makes her a crucial part of the team 💪🏻❤️💙
