Wishing the best of luck to the Division one and Division two teams contesting the national finals today.

Our previous division opponents Lancashire Buccaneers have had a fantastic season, taking a 9-0-1 record down to contest their 10-0 southern counterparts in the Ipswich Cardinals. Having both secured promotion, they’ll both want to finish off with an undefeated season, and a ring to boot! The game is available on BAFA’s YouTube channel at 12:00 and will be a thrilling watch.

Newcastle Vikings take on East Kent Mavericks at 17:00 at the same venue, both capping off incredible seasons and a future in premiership level football.

Most of us lean slightly in favour of our northern brethren and hope they bring their championships back to these parts, but overall we want two safe and exciting games contested by the best these leagues have to offer.
