Adam Holland
A Leigh East Journey 32 Years in the Making
This Saturday will be a very special and emotional occasion for Leigh East as Adam Holland takes to the field for his final game for our Open Age side.
Adamβs journey with Leigh East began an incredible 32 years ago, when he came through the junior ranks as a young player with dreams of pulling on the shirt for the senior side. Over the years, he has progressed through those junior teams, developing not only as a player but as a person and becoming a hugely respected member of the Leigh East family.
Adam has gone on to spend 15 years playing for the Leigh East senior side, giving countless hours, memories and performances to the club he has represented for so much of his life.
Thirty-two years is an incredible length of time to be part of one club. Through the highs and lows, the wins and the difficult days, Adam has always been part of the Leigh East story. He has played alongside many different teammates, represented the club with pride and helped create memories that will stay with those who have shared the field with him.
For the younger players coming through, Adam is a great example of what it means to be part of a community club β coming through the juniors, making the step into the senior game and dedicating so many years to representing the team.
As Saturday approaches, it is a chance for everyone connected with Leigh East to recognise and celebrate everything Adam has given to the club.
32 years. 15 years with the senior side. One club.
We hope as many supporters, former teammates, friends and family as possible can be there on Saturday to give Adam the send-off he deserves.
From everyone at Leigh East, thank you, Adam, for an incredible contribution to our club.
Enjoy your final game, Adam β and what a journey it has been. β€οΈπ€

**Club Statement**
Leigh East ARLFC can confirm that, following discussions between the club and Martin Roden, it has been mutually agreed that now is the right time to make a change in the coaching of our Open Age team.
After what has undoubtedly been a difficult and disappointing season so far, both on and off the pitch, everyone at the club believes this decision gives us the opportunity to reset and focus on improving for the remainder of the season and beyond.
We would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Martin Roden for his outstanding commitment and service to Leigh East over the past 10 years, both as a player and a coach. During that time, Martin has played a huge role in the club and has given us many fantastic memories. In particular, last season's memorable playoff victory away at Bentley, which secured promotion, will live long in the memory of everyone connected with the club. We thank Martin for all of his hard work, dedication and passion, and wish him every success in the future.
We would also like to thank Lee Rowley, who will also be stepping aside from his coaching role. Lee's commitment and support to the Open Age team has been greatly appreciated, and we thank him for everything he has done for Leigh East.
For the remainder of the league season, the Open Age team will be led by the Under 18s coaching staff alongside Mick Redford. We appreciate them stepping up and supporting the club during this period.
Moving forward, we hope everyone connected with Leigh East can come together and work hard to bring improvement across the whole Open Age group. The support of our players, volunteers and supporters will be vital as we look to finish the season in a positive manner.
Thank you for your continued support.
