We teach a number of joint locks that attack the shoulders, wrists, elbows, knees and ankles that can be used to control and submit opponents of all sizes.

As the kids return to school this week, kickstart their journey in improving their self defence skills, confidence and fitness with our Ju-Jitsu classes! But the kids don't get to have all the fun - we offer adult classes too!

We offer a free trial class so why not come down and get a taste of what we do here at Leigh Ju-Jitsu. Normal class prices cost £5 for kids and £6 for adults.

Our friends at Kokoro Ju Jitsu are hosting a North West Atemi Ju-Jitsu Festival on Sunday 11th October 2026 at the Lowton Community Hub dojo.

The seminar is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced instructors from different clubs who've spent years honing and developing their style.

Sensei Danny (3rd Dan), Chris (4th Dan) and Steph (3rd Dan) received their Amateur Martial Association Ltd - AMA certificates last night following their successful Dan grading at the beginning of August. Congratulations once again

In addition to adults classes, we hold two Kids Ju-Jitsu classes a week, teaching children how to defend themselves.

Unfortunately, bullying is still prevalent today as it was years ago, but with our help, your child can learn self defence skills that can give them the confidence and skills to defend themselves if need be.

Our classes are suitable for children aged 5+ and new students can enjoy their first class 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 of charge. (Usually £5 per child). All new starters need to wear is an old t-shirt and shorts/jogging bottoms, and to bring a drink to stay hydrated. We also sell bottles of water at the club.

We're located at Back Findlay St, through the alley gates at the side of Banks Funerals on Railway Road, Leigh.
