A smooth, supportive routine can make all the difference when easing back into active days! 💙

Finding the right activity after school isn’t always one-size-fits-all. That’s why our Rockhopper SEN Swimming Lessons ditch traditional grading schemes and rigid testing. Instead, we focus entirely on learning through play, child-led progress, and celebrating individual milestones.

A regular, play-based swim routine provides a gentle, supportive space to:
⭐️ Help regulate young nervous systems after a busy school day
⭐️ Build vital water safety skills and water confidence
⭐️ Express energy and make friends at their own comfortable pace

📍 Available at Hereford Leisure Pool and Leominster Leisure Centre & Bridge Street Sports Centre

Our specialist team is here to ensure every neurodiverse swimmer feels safe, supported, and confident.

Meet Billie, your Swim Coordinator! 👋💦

Getting into a steady swimming routine after school is one of the best ways to help kids unwind, regulate their nervous systems, and build confidence while making new friends outside the classroom. Billie and the team are always ready to make every lesson the highlight of your child's week!

Get to know Billie:

🏊 In the water: Swimming for 20 years, teaching for 5!

🥤 Ultimate post-swim snack: A cold, fizzy drink

🧱 Favourite pool memory: Conquering the pool obstacle course

🔋 Fun fact: Can go a surprisingly long time without sleeping!

Billie’s secret for helping nervous swimmers settle in? Keeping things light and playful: "I love incorporating colourful toys and fun games into the lessons; it takes their mind off any nerves and lets them get comfortable in the water at their own pace!"

Say hi to Billie next time you’re poolside! Pop into the centre and chat with Billie or the team to find a lesson routine that works for your family.
