With the World Championship final be contested at HRP tonight, how about a little turntable dance of the most recent build....Good luck all.
Scalestox
Scratch built 12th scale replica models. The order book is full unfortunately
Operating as usual
The shelf queen is now 3 years old, and some day it'll be getting, the newer, upgraded parts fitted, don't ask me when tho......
Have shown the differences before on the changes that are done to a Kamtec shell for a saloon build.....a much more subtle approach this time on a current project
Some water has went under the bridge since this one.....4 years ago with Luke Grief
#309 Bryan Forrest
Complete and with its new owner, thanks to Bryan for the opportunity, the info, and the access.
Working suspension, steerable wheels, adjustable wing and removable bonnet....I just make things more difficult don't I 🙃
👍
It's satisfying when a plan comes together..... 😊
Before and after....slower progress than usual but the end is in sight...

2 years ago we were at this stage of build with the 171 Adam O'Dell car, I'm getting old pretty quick I think....
A bit of insight into the paint process of the 349 saloon, tested my masking skills a few times but it all worked out....
Engine mounted, and my chubby fingers were definitely not made to make that easy.....onto getting the bonnet finished off and not too far away from paint.....
A few weeks back the final pieces of the saloon build was received so there's been an effort to get it finished.....
Thanks to Michael Allard and his team for their patience and information.

Some promotion for an event at HRP Lochgelly next month where Leven Model Race Car Club will be running a meeting to show just how the scale racers do it...
Scalestox will be there displaying 2 saloons, the original 219 Luke Grief rc car and the 116 Diggy Smith gold roofed static model, as well as a few other bits and pieces.
Well worth catching both....
12 months ago saw the second radio controlled car completed, the replica of Charlie Hardies orci ministock, seems such a long time since I've actually completed onother one tho 😳
Stage 1 complete...
Another that left the bench 2 years ago was the Micro F2 of rc whizzkid #71 Lennon 'The Helmet' Cuthill, a reminder of his time on the full sized ovals.
One from the memory bank, 2 years today saw this completed, definitely challenging but worth it....
