Productive day today!
Badger lunged, he was not a fan really and would have much preferred me not to have made him do exercise but he’s also way to fat so 🤷🏼‍♀️
Ginge and king done some pole work ridden ba****ck, apparently I’ve lost the plot or something but they were both really good boys.
Belle wandered around the field ba****ck, she was not overly keen but she did do it so that’s all I can ask for.
Anya wormed as her worm count was 750 so she needed doing she’s not my friend.
Ending the day with Mable snuggles and scratches!

All in the sunshine, and the geese are flying out now in the evenings I have started seeing a few flying over 😞 that means winter is on the way 😞

hey all I'm a bit slack on posting recently basically I never know what to post so I'm just going to post things, more about the ponies lives, what and why things happen andca little bit of learning as we go.
if you could share posts, like, comment, tell me what you want to know or learn more about, ask people to join and follow the page, the more people them more people see and the more it helps me raise some funds to help the ponies.

Feed room is cleaned, organised and stocked for a little while!
It likely won’t look like this soon but in preps for winter we are trying to stay organised.

We feed a variety of different things as each horse has different needs, I will make a separate post later on what we feed and why for each horse.

Feeding is a key part of winter, health and well being if the insides are not happy nor are the outsides.

Bit of a diffrent one today for Ginge and Kingsley, they both had a bit of a ba****ck stroll around the field, we not done much this year due to either being to hot, too wet or too busy but I thought I would just give them a walk round and they both seemed to enjoy it and it’s good for kings rehab as he really needs to start building strength and conditioning, Ginge likes retired life but he does enjoy a ride once he’s out and about, he enjoyed his pole work and once I was brave he relaxed! First for me and Ginge again today do love them both

Update from Jessie in her new home, she’s had a clip, been out for walks and loving life! Look at her happy little face

Strange, disgusting, but educational bean in the photo and not the baked kind!
I had the equine winky washer out this week, yes yes that’s right that is an equine profession!!
Owning geldings (male horses with out the testicles) they often get a build up of grime, slim and other vile stuff because they are boys and they are not breeding stock so they basically don’t use it to get rid of the dirt (yes horses are vile too)
I noticed duke was not dropping his manhood to p*e properly and as I’m the brave girl I am I called someone in, and this in the photo is why! A bean as they are called, highly painful, irritable and can cause nasty infections, he’s probably had his a while as it is very large, hard and was not easy to remove! He accepted it fairly well and now back to being comfortable.
The other 3 boys where all clean 🧼

Owning horses is not always fun and games sometimes it turns your stomach and makes you wince a little 🤏

Quick update while I have a coffee as the last few weeks have been manic!!
First I want to thank everyone who helped with our jumble last week and everyone who attended we raised a lovely £172 to help towards the horses!

King had his massage with auntie Sarah Flying Hooves - Equine Massage, Bit & Bridle Fitting and he is getting better proved by his trot up with legs in the air and alot of enthusiasm

The horses went for a play at the neighbours and let me do a lot of fencing and horse wrangling, they all get on well and not a bother but I do prefer them to stay at home and thank you to the girls for helping me fence and wrangle them back in.

Our little Jessie went to her new home yesterday with a very good friend of mine who young horse I work with regularly and she’s already so so loved while we will miss her little face and huge character it’s all part of the process, she will literally be the most spoilt little princess and I get to see her all the time!

We now only have badger left that is available for rehoming, the rest are currently non rehoming residence for various reasons.

Again thank you for everyone who helps and makes it possible and easier for me to manage the chaos the horses cause me, I can not thank you all enough.
