The Academy offers children the opportunity to develop their cricketing skills through regular coached training and competition. Boys and girls from 6 to 17 are encouraged to develop their abilities to the full through fitness, fun, respect for others, teamwork and resilience.

CUP FINAL DAY

A huge day for Leyland Cricket Club as THREE of our teams take to the field today — with two finals to look forward to!

🏆 Ladies 1st XI – Final vs Lindow CC
🏏 Ladies 2nd XI – vs Penwortham CC
🏆 U17s – Final vs St Annes CC

We’d love to see as much Leyland support as possible out there today, particularly for our Ladies 1st XI and U17s as they look to bring some silverware back to Fox Lane!

It’s been another fantastic season for the club, and what better way to finish than getting behind our teams on one final Sunday.

Get down, make some noise and give them the support they deserve!

Final weekend of the season!

Four Leyland teams in action today as we head into the final weekend of league cricket.

The Ladies 1st XI are on the road as they travel to Lindow, looking to finish their league campaign strongly, before the Thunder cup final tomorrow.

It’s a day to enjoy after another fantastic season. The 2nd XI and 3rd XI have already secured promotion, while the 4th XI are guaranteed a 3rd-place finish.

The 2nds travel to Tarleton, the 3rds head to Lancaster and the 4ths finish their season at home against Wyre.

Plenty to celebrate, but still one more game to play.

SATURDAY 5TH SEPTEMBER

A huge Saturday of cricket for Leyland CC, with plenty still to play for across our senior teams!

The 1st XI bring their league season to a close with the short trip to Longridge, looking to finish the year on a high.

The 2nd XI welcome Longridge to Fox Lane with promotion secured they now look to take top spot as we see the top two, while the 3rd XI host Whittingham & Goosnargh knowing they can take a huge step towards promotion today also! 👏

The 4th XI complete the weekend’s fixtures with a trip to Norcross.

A massive day for the club and one last push from everyone involved.

If you’re free this afternoon, get down and support the club especially our 2nds and 3rds at home! 💚

🏏 BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY CRICKET 🏏

Two Leyland sides are in action today as we head into the final stages of the season.

The 1st XI play their final home game of the season at Fox Lane, welcoming Carlisle CC with a 12:30 start. With second place still very much to play for, there’s plenty riding on these final couple of games. It would be brilliant to see a big Leyland crowd down at the ground to get behind the lads one last time at home this season.

Meanwhile, our Ladies 2nd XI are on the road as they make the short trip to Stanley Park to take on Blackpool CC, starting at 14:00.

SATURDAY CRICKET AT LEYLAND CC!

A huge Saturday of cricket ahead, with all four senior teams in action!

The 1st XI are at Fox Lane for a massive game against league leaders Netherfield CC. It’s 1st vs 2nd, with a huge opportunity for the lads to close the gap at the top of the table. First ball is at 12:30pm and we’d love a big Leyland crowd down supporting the team!

And there’s even more reason to get down to Fox Lane today… FOXFEST is on! Guest ales, cricket and a full day at the club — what better way to spend your Saturday?!

Elsewhere, the 4th XI are also at home, taking on Vernon Carus CC at Bretherton, while the 2nd XI travel to Rufford and the 3rd XI head to Torrisholme.
