Lichfield Lindy Thursday evening classes in Lindy Hop and Balboa. Private lessons. Social practice /questions 7.45-8.15pm
Explorers Lindy/Balboa 8.15-9pm.

Lindy Hop and Balboa Dance Lessons alternating weekly in Lichfield - Thursdays at Lichfield Methodist Church Centre. (Check for specific dates as we have gaps between rounds of classes)

Parking and access at rear of church in Backcester Lane WS13 6JH

Basics and Beyond Classes - Lindy Hop/Balboa- 7pm-7.45pm. Over several modules, these classes cover all the fundamental moves of the dance (There are a lot!) We recommend that everyone does this class including our experienced dancers. In this class we include more complicated figures and adapt the fundamental moves and vary them to allow you to develop personal style and create unique routines. You need to be able to do and know the names of all the fundamental moves before moving to the advanced class. If you try to move up too quickly, you end up undoing all the good learning you have already done. Call if you’d like to discuss. Social/practice 9-9.30pm


Classes £8 per person or £10 for both classes. There is no need to book. Just turn up on the night. Bring a bottle of water.

No class tonight or next week. Enjoy a change of Thursday evening activity. Classes will start back with Lindy Hop on the 1st October. We will then alternate lindy and bal every week until the 26th Nov which is just before the Christmas party. The round will end with lindy hop.. making up for the lindy cancellations last round. We have also set a deadline for ticket sales for the Christmas party as 26th November (although we may sell out before then). This is so that we know where we are with food shopping on the next day. Xx

Thank you to everyone who came to our balboa dance yesterday. Hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did. An afternoon of balboa bliss. Very big thank yous for all the help setting up and taking down. Andy Bury and Caroline for doing both, Terry for collecting the scones, Jackie Burton and team of others.. who are they. ? ….who get the kitchen all cleared and everything packed up? Have a great week all.
Maybe see some of you in Shrewsbury on the 6th September. Razor Holler are doing us a general swing set xx

Are there any dancers out there who might be able to help out for a good cause?
I’ve been contacted by someone who runs a dementia club. They are having an anniversary celebration on the 2nd July and would like some dancers to go along and do a 15/20 minute slot.
It’s in Sutton Coldfield and our slot would be about 3.30pm. The D Day Darlings are also doing a similar length slot so we could listen to them too. Lunch is at 12.30 if you fancy getting there early for that.
