Congrats to those who graded last Sunday from Heronsgate karate club in Walnut Tree and passed their grading. If you’d like to learn karate come and try out a free lesson from 6:30pm-8:30pm tonight or on most Thursdays at the same time.

All our Thursday classes now include tournament and fighting training. We believe karate is not just about learning detailed forms and techniques; it's also about building the skills and confidence to defend yourself effectively. Come along and find out more! Next grading is on Sunday, 1st March. Please check your hours and hand in your licenses. From white belts to brown belts, you will need to have completed 20 hours of basic training. From brown belts and above, you MUST have 40 hours of basic completed, and you MUST have 40 hours of advanced training completed. Any questions, speak to Sensei Ian.

Join us on Thursday evenings, 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, to learn traditional Shotokan karate. Classes are taught by two experienced 3rd Dan instructors, and we are part of WJKA UK (https://www.shotokankarate.uk/) and internationally (https://wjkahqcom.wordpress.com/).

For over 30 years, our Shotokan Karate association has been a cornerstone of martial arts training in Milton Keynes and Bedford. We pride ourselves on teaching the authentic style as originated by Master Gichin Funakoshi (1868 - 1957), outlined in the Best Karate Series, written by his successor, Master Masatoshi Nakayama (1913-1987).

Weekly classes resume Thursdays 5-7pm from 31st August '23 at Heronsgate Primary school. Tuition is offered from beginners to advanced grades, and all are welcome to join. If you haven't trained before, simply turn up in PE/gym clothes. First lesson is always free. Start your journey to black belt in Shotokan karate, all ages welcome from Primary school to Adults. WJKA UK (SKA) is part of WJKA international https://wjkahqcom.wordpress.com/ designed to propagate pure JKA Shotokan karate steeped in the teachings and traditional methodology of the Japan Karate Association.
