⚽ RAPTORS WIN AT HOME!⚽

A winning start to life at home for Whittington Raptors as the boys battled to a 2–0 victory over Brewood Juniors Colts!👏

The Raptors dominated the first half and took a deserved lead when Seth created the chance for Emre to calmly finish. ⚽

Brewood came back strongly after the break and caused plenty of problems, but the boys showed great resilience. Ashton made some smart saves, while the defence stood firm when it mattered. 🧤

Late on, Seth was brought down in the box, and Bertie stepped up to confidently convert the penalty and seal the win. 🎯

An outstanding all-action display at right back — strong, energetic and thoroughly deserving of the award!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦⚽ BRING A GROWN UP DAY ⚽👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Saturday 26th September, we are bringing back our Bring a Grown-up session! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🥳⚽️

This gives all our parents, guardians and grown-ups the chance to join in with their children and show them the football skills they never knew you had! ⚽️

It’s a great opportunity to get involved, support your child and have some fun together on the pitch!

If your child has never tried football before, what better way to introduce them to the game than by getting out there and having a go alongside them? ⚽️🤩

We’ll be running a range of different activities for you to try, before finishing with a grown-ups match for anyone who fancies putting their skills to the test! 👀

And the best bit… Grown-ups go FREE! 🙌

So there really should be no excuses! ❌ None of this “I’ve got an old injury that’s flaring up”, “My mum said I don’t have to do it today" or “I forgot my kit!”
We’ve heard them all before! 😂

This session will also be held in support of our coach, Ben Kirk’s Thirty before 30 fundraiser, raising money in memory of his dad and our previous head coach, Steve Kirk. Any donations are greatly appreciated, with all proceeds going towards Whittington Soccer Centre and Whittington FC. ❤️

👟 Trainers or football boots are both fine
👕 Football kit or sportswear is advisable

Come along, get involved and make some memories with your child. You never know, they might even teach you a thing or two! 😏⚽️

We’re delighted to welcome Joe Panting to Whittington FC ahead of the 2026/27 season!✍️🔥

Joe signs for the first team after progressing through the Whittington Green Devils from U8s right through to U16s. He has also spent a few seasons playing for the Whittington Devils - which he continues to do so!

A fantastic journey so far, and we’re delighted to see Joe make the step up to the first team! ⚽👏
