Some great news concerning our Women's Indoor Team!

Cricket team celebrate league title after unbeaten season - Lichfield Live® A local cricket team is celebrating silverware after an unbeaten season.

Last Friday we received a visit from Sarah Edwards MP for Tamworth. Sarah was interested to view the outcome of the clubs grant application from HS2, which totalled over £39,000. Sarah was especially interested in the electric lawnmower, as well as the Air Source Heat Pump, although I think we were all dissapointed we could not show off our irrigation system linked to our borehole; (sadly approximately 150 kids on the outfield put pay to that particular demonstration). It was great to be able to show Sarah how popular our club is, especially on such a glorious Friday All-Stars / Dynamos night.

Hopefully we will have similar weather tomorrow and over the weekend (Firsts at home on Saturday, Under 13's at home on Sunday morning, Women's Softball Sunday afternoon)

Tonight is our first full Dynamos and All Stars night at the cricket club alongside the already established Under 13, 15 and 17 training. The BBQ will be on full power, and we have a new seating area and beers to sample! Plus, the weather looks like it is going to be glorious!

New Season... New Bar! Stowford Press, Owzat Lager, Stumped Stout and a new IPA! Come and sample our beers and Tom The Barmans legendary jokes!!

The 2025 Cricket Season is now well underway. We have kids games in the week and senior games at the weekend. Our Friday Night club night is also up and running with BBQ, Bar and hopefully sunshine!

Indoor nets have started at Netherstow School in Lichfield...if new to the game or new to the area please feel free to get in touch...everyone welcome.

Also, as the season rapidly approaches, we move practice sessions outside at the ground from Wednesday 9th April and every wednesday until mid september from 5:30pm 🙂

Lots planned for 2025, so come and get involved. Junior teams from Under 10s up to Under 17s, 3 saturday mens teams and a sunday side plus a quickly evolving women and girls section there is something for everyone

Whittington ladies (13+) your cricket club needs you...

we are holding an indoor welcome session at Aldridge school this Sunday 4pm - 4:45 / 5pm for anybody potentially interested in playing some cricket - a great way to get some additional exercise / fresh air and a fabulous confidence building / social experience which also happens to be a lot of fun 😀

Some of our ladies team will also be there to welcome you along with myself (Martin - ECB level 2 coach)

this event is free and it would be great if you could join us

following this session from 5pm - 6pm will be our ladies team session for those who enjoy the 1st hour or are a bit more confident / experienced (this hour will be charge at £4)

Bonfire Night once again in support of local community groups! We are also looking for volunteer helpers! See you there!!!
