Becoming an official is a great way to give back to the sport, learn a new skill, meet other swimming enthusiasts and get the best seats in the house!

Good luck to all 8 LASC swimmers in Limerick this week at the Irish Age Group Championships. Qualifying is such an achievement and required time, effort and commitment from athlete and coaching team alike.
We are so proud of everyone involved. Charlie, Adam, Lara, Sienna-Rose, Bonnie, Maia, Conor and Faye...the hard work is now done, so race hard, race fast...and enjoy!

Just some of the 14 smiling faces that swam their hearts out as individuals and supported each other as a team across the weekend action at the Ulster Age Group and Senior LC champs held as always in the Aurora Bangor.
Those 14 swimmers had a total of 70 races between them... and managed a whopping 51 PBs ๐คฏ๐คฏ๐คฏ
We also made it to 24 finals over the week end. Wow!
PBs are the goals they all chase but special mention to two swimmers...
Kevin McMacken PB'd in every one of his events, and reached 5 finals. All that after passing his driving test earlier that week. ๐๐
And to Shane Fyfe who achieved bronze in the 200m Breast Stroke Open 15-16 yr olds.
Well done Shane, well done Kevin, well done all!!

All hail 13 of the 14 Limavady heroes competing at the Swim Ulster Age Group and Senior Long Course Champs in Bangor this week end. We'll try and catch the elusive Elodie on Sunday.
Every single one of these athletes train so hard throughout the year aiming to qualify for this champs and then on to the National champs in Dublin & Limerick in July. Swimming is one TOUGH sport.
Well done all for getting this far. Your club is very proud of you already. Enjoy the experience.
