☘️IRISH MXMASTERS CHAMPIONSHIP 2026☘️

SATURDAY 12th / SUNDAY 13th SEPTEMBER

The Sixth and Final Round of our Adult Championships takes place on Saturday 12th

Our 4 Kids K Classes will also have their penultimate Round on the Saturday, remembering the Final Round of their Ulster Grassroots Championship will take place on Friday evening 11th from 5.30pm

Sunday 13th is the turn of our Youth Riders to do battle for Top Honours, in what is the sixth and Final Round of their 2026 Championship

Kids K Classes will once again line up on Sunday for their final 3 races of the series, 4 new Irish Champions will be crowned at the end of the days proceedings

We intend to run an Adult Support Class on Sunday, for those of you that do not intend making the journey to Saul for the race meeting there

We purposely have switched the racing around, Adult Saturday and Youth Sunday, to enable both sets of competitors the opportunity to race both days, and not have to make the difficult decision of choosing whether to race our IRISH MXMASTERS or the Plews Irish Round at Saul

Mark Galloway, Track owner of Saul in County Down, I know puts in a tremendous effort and hosts a super event each year, it is just a shame the half wits in the MX Commission decided to clash with my date, which had been published more than 3 months in advance of them announcing to run on the same weekend

The old saying ‘You can’t teach Stupid’ is once again very appropriate in describing the so called hierarchy, that make these ludicrous decisions, which can only be to the detriment of our Sport

No pre-entry is required at any of our Race Days, entries are taken on the morning of the events

We started our Winter Series Championship back in 2022

Since then it has grown into 1 of the most popular and highly anticipated Championships on the calendar

It is a great platform for our Youth Riders who are moving up a Class, or on to a bigger size and capacity of bike, to gauge exactly where they are at, lining up and competing against their new counterparts

Weather dependant, each Round will be staged on a different Track or layout to the 1 previous

We intend to make the 2026 IRISH WINTER SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP even bigger and better, in what is our 5th consecutive year hosting it

More details and information will be posted over the coming weeks
