One thing I’ve learned over the years is that no matter what you do in life, not everyone is going to understand it.

Some people will support you from day one ❤️
Some people will question it 🤔
Some people won’t get it at all.

And that’s okay.

Because at the end of the day, you’re the one living your life — not them.

If there’s something you want to do…
If there’s a goal you want to chase…
If there’s a challenge you want to take on…

Then go for it 💪

Whether that’s joining a gym, starting a business, running your first 10k, changing careers, or simply becoming a healthier and happier version of yourself.

💪 CHOOSING THE RIGHT REP RANGE FOR YOUR GOAL 💪

One of the biggest mistakes I see in the gym is people training without understanding why they’re using a certain rep range.

Not all reps are created equal 👇

🔥 1-5 REPS
Best for: Strength
✅ Build maximum strength
✅ Improve power output
✅ Lift heavier loads

💪 6-12 REPS
Best for: Muscle Growth
✅ Build size and muscle mass
✅ Great balance of volume and intensity
✅ Ideal for most people looking to improve their physique

🏃 12-20+ REPS
Best for: Muscular Endurance

✅ Increase work capacity
✅ Great for conditioning and accessory work

📱💭 Stop comparing your behind-the-scenes to someone else’s highlight reel. 💭📱

Social media can be an amazing place for inspiration, but it can also be one of the quickest ways to make yourself feel like you’re not doing enough.

You scroll through your feed and see the perfect physique.
The perfect holiday.
The perfect workout.
The perfect life.

But what you’re seeing is often the best lighting, the best angle, the best pose, and the best photo out of 50 attempts 📸✨

What you don’t see are the outtakes.
The bad angles.
The days they felt bloated.
The days they skipped the gym.
The struggles, setbacks, and challenges that every single person faces.

It’s easy to forget that social media is usually a carefully selected snapshot of someone’s life, not the full picture.

That’s why comparing yourself to others is a losing game.

Someone will always be leaner.
Someone will always be stronger.
Someone will always have more followers.

But none of that matters.

The only journey you need to focus on is your own 🚀

Instead of looking at where someone else is, look at where YOU were 6 months ago.

💧☕ Want to feel more awake in the morning? Do this before reaching for your coffee… ☕💧

One of the best habits you can build is hydrating the moment you wake up.

Think about it… you’ve just gone 6–8 hours (or more) without drinking a drop of water 😴 Your body wakes up naturally dehydrated, which can leave you feeling sluggish, groggy, and low on energy.

Starting your day with a big glass of water 💧 helps:
✅ Rehydrate your body
✅ Support brain function 🧠
✅ Improve concentration
✅ Help digestion get moving
✅ Support muscle function and recovery 💪

Then comes the interesting part…

Instead of reaching straight for a coffee, try waiting 60–90 minutes after waking ⏰

Why? Your body naturally produces cortisol (your alertness hormone) when you wake up. If you hit caffeine immediately, you’re often stacking it on top of your body’s natural wake-up process.

Waiting a little while allows your body to do its job first, and many people find they get a better energy boost from their coffee later in the morning ☕🚀

So tomorrow morning try:
💧 Water first
🚶‍♂️ Move around
☀️ Get some daylight
☕ Coffee 60–90 minutes later

Small habits like this can make a huge difference to your energy, focus, and performance throughout the day.

☀️🍻 What a great bunch of people! 🍻☀️

One of the best parts of coaching isn’t just seeing people get fitter, stronger, and healthier… it’s watching the friendships and community that grow along the way ❤️

It’s an absolute pleasure to coach this group. They work hard, push themselves in every session, support each other when things get tough, and always bring a great atmosphere. But what’s amazing is that it doesn’t stop when the workout ends.

Being able to spend evenings like this together, enjoying the sunshine, having a laugh, and making memories is what it’s all about 🙌☀️

Sometimes people think that starting a fitness journey means giving up your social life, saying no to every event, and never enjoying yourself. The truth couldn’t be further from that.

Fitness should enhance your life, not take away from it 💪

You can work towards your goals, look after your health, and still enjoy time with friends and family. It’s all about balance. Creating healthy habits that fit around your life rather than letting fitness take over it.

That’s something I’m really proud of with our group. We train hard, we support each other, we celebrate wins together, and we also know how to enjoy ourselves too 😁

A fantastic evening, plenty of laughs, great company, and a reminder that fitness is about much more than what happens in the gym ❤️

🔥💪 This is what happens when you finally get the right structure… 💪🔥

One of the biggest things I see people struggle with is not effort — it’s having a plan.

Most people don’t lack motivation. They don’t lack determination. What they lack is structure. They go to the gym, try different diets, follow random advice online, and wonder why the results never seem to stick 🤯

This client came to me wanting to lose weight and feel more confident ahead of his holiday ☀️🏖️

Instead of overcomplicating things, we created a nutrition plan and training programme that fitted around his lifestyle. No crazy restrictions. No endless hours of cardio. Just a plan he could follow consistently week after week.

So… I actually posted my first proper YouTube video 😂

Honestly this is more of a challenge for me than prep itself because I hate recording myself, hearing my own voice back, watching myself back… basically all of it 💀

Trying to push myself out of my comfort zone a bit though because everyone starts somewhere… even if that somewhere is awkwardly talking to a camera like a hostage video 😭

Give it a watch if you want… or don’t if you fancy avoiding being bored for 5 minutes hahaha.

Hopefully the videos get better over time because right now we’re learning on the job 🤝😂
