4-1 Defeat today away to North Thoresby FC in the cup, some positives and some negatives to take out the game, with a total change to the lineup and trying a different system was never going to be easy from the off! A couple of early chances that we could of put away maybe would of altered the game after 90 minutes and a couple of questionable decisions by a ref again leaving us with 10 men who’s probably favoured a local side more than the other all game aswell hasn’t helped us throughout either.
But we learn from the mistakes, have some time off now over the Xmas period and come back stronger!

2-1 Defeat today away at League leaders Grimsby borough Academy.
A game with little chances from both teams pressing well & cutting them out, Credit to the Academy who took there’s well and on another day we possibly could of took ours & had a few decisions go our way aswell.

Overall a positive performance from
The Rasen today going toe to toe with a very well drilled Grimsby borough academy who really knocked it about well on the deck for the duration and have some very good talent amongst them for the future!

Today’s man of the match & goalscorer making his debut for Rasen was Ted Gissing who got on the end of a lovely delivery from Sam Williams to head one home! ⚽️

A solid group of 15 to make the trip to Grimsby tomorrow! ⚽️ 💛💙
