My next learn to lift group is due to start on the 28th of June. It will be running on Tuesdays and Fridays at 6.30pm for six weeks, the session will last 90 minutes and involve the Olympic lifts alongside some strength building exercises. β

The videos are from my last learn to lift group who killed it, they loved it so much that they stayed on! They were all new to weight training so you really don't need any prior experience before giving it a shot. β

Just as I start to feel more confident with Sn**ches I feel less so with Jerks, always something to work on in this Weightlifting game π My head wouldn't let me jerk the 55kg π€
This course is suited to all levels of fitness or ability, if you have no knowledge of lifting that's great as the course is designed to teach you from the very beginning.
The course will include areas such as:
* Basic technique of the lifts
* Lifting safely
* Effective warm up & cool down
* How diet & lifestyle effects your training
* How you can fit it around your busy life
One thing I want to reassure you of is that it doesn't cost anything to ask a question. I'm so happy to chat about lifting and my own experience and I won't force you into anything, a message doesn't commit you to the course. I want to be open and accessible in the hope that people may feel more comfortable into taking that step into trying something new.
If there is a enough people who are interested but uncertain I would happily offer a free taster session, so drop me a message if this something you would prefer to do before commiting to a course.

The course will involve two evening 90 minute group training sessions a week at Primal Life Gym in Lincoln. You may want to do more in your own time I can plan these session too. I will be accessible to answer questions about your training.

75kg Sn**ch PB for Ceann last night, 80kg was super close and he'll have it soon for sure! This was after a full days work in a physically demanding job so deffo got more in the tank.
Ceann started Weightlifting this year and has come on well seeing as he's relatively new to the sport.

wanted to have a go at some Olympic Weightlifting after winning his Powerlifting comp a couple of weeks ago. He's only ever messed around with a bar in the past, missing hip contact completely. This was the result after one session with some technical adjustments. β£
