I don’t post transformations often as many times my job as a coach is supporting people to gain confidence in the gym, to recover post surgery, meet criteria for surgery and help some gain a direction with their training or work on form. This said today I’m bursting at the seems to share Fays hard work with you it would be criminal to not give her the spot light for all she has accomplished.

Starting with me mid February 23 she has today 7 months in reached the 3 stone loss marker.!!!!!! My approach has, and always will be, steadily and healthy and life is to be lived not be deprived. She navigated holidays and time away, meals out and BBQ’s with friends not to mention a hectic work and family life all the while with her weight consistently coming down gently and for the long term.

Fay has approached every coaching session we have had with enthusiasm and a smile on her face, her sessions are truly a pleasure. I am sooooo happy for her. 🫶🏻

Ok so yesterday was fun this loonie (Lucy Wiswould-Green) finished 31 of 300 miles she has skated over august for teenage cancer trust. Absolutely nuts target that she has completed and now we need to get her just giving target completed for her!!!! This lass has had a sugar show thrown her way, to be honest the family has, I truly have no idea how they’ve held things together. Anyhoo, I joined in yesterday on the last day see how many miles the legs had in them and turns out 40.2 on the app 42.7miles total (app kindly froze half a lap). Thankfully the family are now all cancer free and still the amazing people they have always been. Meet Mel and Poppy, my mum daughter double act. Already members at the gym came to me for a little direction. Mel has her personal goals but also along the way wanted to learn how best to support Poppy while she was training. My reason for this post is not so much about what I do for them but about what an awesome situation it is to be able to support quality time for this pair. Teens now are soooo wired into their tech and socials and with the increase in living costs parents are finding themselves working more and more. Yet with all this to contend with this fantastic pair have carved out time to keep healthy (body and mind) and spend some good mum daughter time together. This kind of thing we need to see more of!!! Mel, pops ur awesome keep rocking it!

Started running a new program a few weeks ago with Tracy. Being a fit and healthy loonie I gave her dead’s to get her teeth into 😇. She was a little unsure being a big lift with occasionally a bad rap, but trusted me and embraced it. Each week she’s added weight and is loving it. Tracy you give everything to each set….. between a little natter 😂 I can’t wait to see where you are in the coming months with your whole program

Squats are a compound lift that take time and work. None of us are the same which means we don’t lift the same. Squat depth does vary person to person. But if your struggling to reach parallel. Possibly try a couple of these. 🙂

Shoulders can be something us women shy away from doing or don’t consider to be critical to pay attention to. Consider this though, building more strength in our shoulders helps us progress many of our other lifts and areas we train. Putting time into working our shoulders helps maintain muscle as we get older and help us lead more independent lives later on. If a lovely hour glass figure is something you’d like to own then a little extra width on your shoulders can give a slimming appearance to the waist. Emily killing it below with seated shoulder press!
