St Helens FC Lincoln

This weekend our U7s participated in a national tournament. The team played magnificently beating teams from as close as Spilsby and as far away as Newcastle en route to the final. Unfortunately the game was a step too far for the boys. Despite pushing their opponents all the way, the team lost out to a brilliant team from Leicester
Each and everyone of the players were amazing and they should all be really proud of their achievements.

Here they are after receiving their Tournament Runners Up Shield and Medals. Well done from all of us.

There’s a special mention to Spilsby Town, a minute silence was well observed by both teams in memory of Declan Sawyer. ❤️🖤

Our U15s entered two teams in the Lowlands Tournament today. Both sides did really well qualifying for the semi finals where they met each other. With one progressing to the final unfortunately they narrowly lost on penalties ❤️🖤

Our U10’s were at the Young Dons tournament today and did brilliant. It was very tough in the heat but they played really well, beating some tough opposition and very unlucky to get knocked out in the semi final on penalties. ❤️🖤

Both teams paid their respects to Declan Sawyer today with a minutes silence before their opening U15 game at the Lowlands JFC Tournament. ❤️🖤
