βΌοΈπ₯ RAGE BAIT ALERT π₯βΌοΈ
Following on from my post yesterday, and my inbox being littered with messages, contradicting my statements, in this case specifically on stance..
How a stance has to be good and proper to play Snooker. How, for a right hander, your right leg must be on that line of aim or you couldn't possibly pot balls!?
Well again, I'm here to tell you that it is just not true, and if you're being told this, or god forbid, taught this, then you need to reconsider "who you listen to".
The saving grace amoungst all the chaos of the Snooker coaching world, is there are folk about that know the score, that really get it, and can really do it.
There are certain things all top players have in place when playing, these are the real "fundamentals". They are probably, most definitely, not what you think they are.
Michael Holt Snooker Coaching posted a video a while ago, you should check it out, it's great ππΌ https://youtu.be/k-5hm8YDX24?is=cBfRazfVkARgznC2
This video is demonstrating clearing a table using a different stance for each shot, 36 different ways in all.
I thought I'd take it a step further, and clear the table stood on 1 leg, just to reaaaaaally bang that drum.
6 minutes of my life I'll never get back, but needs must.. for the cause and all that!!
It's really not rocket science this game. But focusing on the wrong things can lead you down a road not worth travelling, trust me!
Above all else this demonstration was a good core workout π
