🏁 Ride in Peace, Gary #211 🏁

Everyone at Spiceboy Racing would like to send our deepest condolences to the family, loved ones, friends and teammates of Gary Stevens, who tragically lost his life following an accident during qualifying at Donington Park.

We didn’t have the privilege of knowing Gary personally, but in motorcycle racing that somehow doesn’t seem to matter quite as much. We share the same paddocks, the same circuits, the same nerves on the grid and, above all, the same passion for racing motorcycles.

When we lose one of our own, the whole racing community feels it.

A fellow competitor has been taken far too early, doing what he loved. It’s something that hits particularly hard for all of us who race, and for the families and friends who support us while we pursue something that means so much to us.

There really are no words that can make a loss like this easier. Our thoughts are with Gary’s family, loved ones, friends, everyone at Wiz Racing, and all those in the paddock who had the privilege of knowing him.

At times like this, the results, lap times, rivalries and chequered flags suddenly seem a lot less important. We’re reminded that beneath all the competition, we are one racing family.

From everyone at Spiceboy Racing, our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to everyone affected by this terrible loss.
