A few intermediate poses in this one, but for level 2 students who mindfully move at their own pace here's a 30 minute class I just posted. It feels 'daytime' to me, so maybe not an evening practice unless you add some of your own slower bits towards the end then take savasana...

This summer in level1+ classes we are working with wild thing a lot- we’re always going via side plank and a goal is smooth breathwork- moving through the poses with the breath and sustaining that steady count for even inhales and even exhales. Without explosive breathing at the end, and without so much straining we feel like we can’t breathe within the process.

I’ve put up a new YouTube class it’s a 40 minute session reflecting the theme for this week; strength.
This one’s suitable for level 1-2, if you’ve just started practicing with me and want to try the video -skip the vinyasas and remove downward dog if you’ve not developed that steady strength to hold it as often as I do here, head to table and take breaks when you need to. 🙏🙂

The number 3 (tri) in Yoga turns up a lot;
The 3 Gunas (raw energetic states of the material world & body. (https://www.arhantayoga.org/blog/sattva-rajas-tamas-gunas/),
The 3 doshas in Auyerveda (https://www.bodhisurfyoga.com/the-three-doshas)
In my vinyasa classes we often do patterns/repetitions 3 times, and the components of sequences are often 3 poses long, and we often stay within a pose for 3 breaths, these feel like the natural flows of vinyasa, the natural way of it, (or perhaps its just the way we are used to practicing nowadays...)
If you are curious you could research how 3 turns up else where in yoga.... There are other numbers that are also significant.

I have a few spaces left on Monday evenings for new starters to join this class- once you get going in these classes I tend not to admit newbies- this means my classes progress- I don’t hold people at a set level- we nudge forward gradually building strength and awareness over time.
