Female Focussed Running & Strength Coaching No one is ever left behind. I started running regularly in 2006 when I joined my local Women's Running Network group.
The Pink Ladies running club welcomes all abilities from complete beginners with no running experience to those aiming to complete a 5k 'Race for Life', local 10k or even a half marathon. Each session is tailored to meet the needs of the group but above all the aim is for it to be fun, supportive and inclusive. What started in 2010 with a small group of women joining a beginners’ running group has grown into an amazing community with running, strength and Pilates classes and 100’s of incredible ladies along the way! 🏃🏼♀️ 💪

❓What do we actually do in a run club session besides talking and laughing?
We meet in Waitrose car park every Tuesday morning at 9:30am and again in the evening at 6:30pm.
1️⃣We begin with a warm up, this is a mix of slow running, walking and mobility exercises.
2️⃣Then we do a focus on running technique and practise this by running short distances and then walking back as a recovery.
3️⃣The main part of the session is a mix of short and/or longer intervals of running. Everyone takes it at their own pace and you can choose whether to run all of the intervals or to do a mix of running and walking.
4️⃣Finally we head back to the car park for our cool down and stretches.
All the sessions are suitable for complete beginners and those wanting to push themselves to run more or faster.
💕All the ladies are just lovely and so supportive, it’s not a competitive group at all and the focus is on keeping fit together in a safe and fun way.
