Second day on site and our learners are learning tool and material recognition, how to pick up their mortar correctly to build starter face brickwork and gaining skills in teamwork and communication.

The last two weeks our learners took part in a big project, building a summer house for development plus. They learnt skills in groundwork, slab laying, following written and verbal instructions, working as part of a team and using their hand tools. Great experience for our learners to take part in. Well done team

Our new construction group, yesterday learnt how to use a gauge and spirit level, to construct their pyramid walls. You wouldn't think they have never laid a brick before, would you? Great work guys.. Let's see their work at the end of the 6 week course

Abbey Access Training have just a few places left on their upcoming Wellbeing Days in the next few weeks:

🌸 'How to Flourish' Wellbeing Day at Faldingworth Farm Lodge, near Lincoln on Tuesday 29th April, 9.30-3.30pm. The day includes a Positive Psychology Wellbeing workshop focused on 'How to Flourish', Wellbeing Walk, Lunch and a relaxing Sound Bath.

🌸'Willow Weaving for Wellbeing' Day at Walcott near Sleaford on Tues 13th May to include lunch. 9.30-3.30pm.

Both Days are FREE to anyone earning under £25,000 pa (individually not per household) and over the age of 20 years old.

It's a wonderful opportunity to support their wellbeing, grow confidence and meet like minded people!
