Last day for submissions today.

Thus far, we have had an incredible 44 state Secondary/SEN establishments register for this fantastic opportunity.

Always room for more 😍🏏

📣𝗚𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆/𝗦𝗘𝗡 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 ⤵⤵⤵⤵⤵

𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 & 𝗦𝗘𝗡 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹'𝘀... 🏏

This year, Lincolnshire County Cricket & England and Wales Cricket Board will be piloting a new CPD Cricket for Teachers (CfT), with the aim of engaging and training Secondary & SEN School teachers to increase confidence, so more cricket is delivered in schools.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗱?

🏏As this pilot is aimed at mass participation, the focus of this training will be to upskill teachers to offer more 𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 opportunities in schools, therefore providing non engaged students the opportunity to play cricket - possibly for the first time.

🏏Any school that attends will be eligible to receive a new ‘cricket equipment bag’ for 🆓 - approx. £5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣worth of equipment that you can access for free on completion of the training session.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲?

🏏The training will consist of a two-hour face to face CPD session. We are looking at running these at multiple sites across the county in collaboration with the 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 across Greater Lincolnshire, probably about 3.30pm till 5.30pm ish.

Our plan is to run 4 of these sessions around the County, so everyone has a relatively local option.

🏏We are looking at delivering these sessions in February & March, 2026

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝗜 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗱? (State Secondary & SEN only)

Please register your school via this quick & easy form ⤵ https://tinyurl.com/2j7v74x4 or via the attached QR code.

Please ensure that we only receive one completed form per school & the deadline is 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝟭𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆.

📣We hope you see this is as a great opportunity to increase the confidence for cricket within your PE department & once we understand the interest and appetite across Greater Lincolnshire, we will look to organise dates and venues📣

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch, with our Head of Participation & Growth, Justin Owen ⤵

😍 Please tag & share in as many State Secondary/SEN school's/ teacher's across the County, that you know so we can reduce more barriers to get involved 😍

Details of our mixed inter Summer State Secondary Competition & Festival Offer, has gone out to school contacts this afternoon.

Following on from last year's feedback survey, it is clear that there is an appetite to continue with the competitive traditional format that we have ran for the last 2 years, but also the introduction of a more developmental offer, therefore providing non engaged students the opportunity to play cricket - possibly for the first time.

The competitive offer will be intrinsically linked to the National launch of the 𝗠𝗖𝗖𝗙 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗞𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁-𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝘂𝗽, with a winning pathway opportunity from County Final, Regional Finals at Kimbolton, to representing your school at Lord's.

Our developmental offer has been designed to provide players with access to a fun, inclusive and fast paced format of the game, which will involve multiple schools at one outdoor venue, over the course of a day, playing a series of incrediball matches against each other, across multiple pitches at the same time.

When the☀️comes out to play, we'll be ready 😁
