CRICKET COLLECTIVE AWARDS 2026:

Following on from yesterday's Coach of the Year nominees announcement, we are delighted to introduce our shortlisted candidates for the Cricket Collective Champion award.

Cricket Collective Champion - an individual who plays a vital role in making recreational cricket happen by championing the volunteers who bring it to life. They support and uplift others, helping to recruit new faces, nurture existing volunteers, and create a welcoming, motivated environment where everyone feels valued.

Congratulations to our Cricket Collective Champion nominees.

๐Ÿ SQUAD ANNOUNCEMENT ๐Ÿ

Itโ€™s the final weekend of the Tier 3 Womenโ€™s season, and thereโ€™s one last 50-over fixture to go as we welcome Cricket East to Hartsholme CC this Sunday.

Last time out, the girls posted a competitive 227 against Suffolk, but the unbeaten side chased it down to secure the win. With promotion now off the cards, thereโ€™s still plenty to play for, with second place in the league firmly within reach.

Head Coach Martyn Hill has added former Lincolnshire player Rebecca Brooker, who joins on loan from Leicestershire, while thereโ€™s also a debut for one of our promising Pathway players. ๐Ÿ‘

One final push. One final opportunity to finish the season strongly. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›

CRICKET COLLECTIVE AWARDS 2026:

We are looking forward to celebrating all the shortlisted nominees for our Cricket Collective Awards at our Celebration Event on Saturday 26th September.

The invitations have been sent and preparations are in full swing for an evening of inspiring stories, awards, food, networking and volunteer recognition.

Without volunteers, the recreational game simply doesn't function. That's why events like this are so important.

Over the coming weeks we will be announcing the nominees for each award category, and we start with Coach of the Year - a coach who goes above and beyond to inspire and develop players of all ages & abilities, creating a safe, inclusive and enjoyable learning environment.

Congratulations to all our Coach of the Year nominees.
