The work continues behind the scenes at Metheringham FC.

Today we can announce that we have secured Adam Broome for another season.

Broomer signed late last season but only made one appearance due to work commitments.

Another top quality Goalkeeper to add to the squad 🧤.

The clubs U17 and U12 sides took part in the Lowlands festival of football today.

The U17 finished top of their group before being eliminated in the semi final going down to a 1-2 defeat.

The U12 playing against higher division opposition, also finished top of their group, not conceding a goal in the process. Unfortunately they also missed out on the final losing 0-1 in their semi final to A league opponents.

A good, warm day, had by all.

The Robins are delighted to announce that long serving CB, Danny Lindsey will be staying with us for the season 26/27.

Danny missed the last part of the season through injury, we are very happy to welcome him back into the group.

Back to business, all at Metheringham FC are loving that Olly Humphreys will remain a Robin for the 26/27 season.

Humpy is an excellent goalkeeper, a great lad and we are all looking forward to working with him again.

Another day, another player.

Finn Holroyd will be staying with the Robins for another season, an excellent footballer who can play at fullback on both sides, and more than comfortable further forward.

An eventful season while out injured for Christian Bucknell, we are delighted to simply add him to the squad list and let him get some football in, welcome back Bucks.

With the aim of building on last seasons success, Metheringham FC are working hard to put together a squad capable of challenging on all fronts.

We can announce that Lucas Burnett will be staying with us for another year. A powerful, ball playing defender who is equally adapt at playing up top when needed.
