Hi I am starting something a little different and wanted to share it here.

Over the years I’ve worked with many people struggling with ongoing lower back pain, and I know how frustrating and limiting it can feel (something I understand personally as well).

I’m putting together a small, gentle 6-week online Pilates programme specifically for people with lower back pain, focused on helping you feel safer in your body, move more comfortably, and build confidence again.

No previous Pilates experience is needed – I will guide you through everything step by step.

It will be a small, supportive group on Zoom.

Over many years of teaching Pilates I have noticed that many people feel hesitant about starting, especially if they have had an injury, surgery, or have not exercised for some time.

Often the concern is not motivation, but uncertainty about whether the exercises will be appropriate for their body.

This is why I keep my Clinical Pilates groups very small. It allows time to observe carefully, make adjustments where needed, and support each person in developing confidence in how their body moves.

Many people find that once they understand how to move well, even a few simple exercises can make a meaningful difference.

A lovely conversation came up in class recently about motivation to practise at home.
One client asked: “How do you find the motivation?”
As we talked about it, many people nodded. It can be difficult to get started on your own.
We discussed how home practice doesn’t have to mean doing a full routine. Sometimes it’s simply:�• doing 1 or 2 exercises�• not worrying about changing into fitness gear�• bringing Pilates awareness into everyday movements such as standing, bending or getting out of a chair
But we also agreed that sometimes it helps to have a little structure and guidance, even when practising at home.
This is one of the reasons I have begun offering very small live online Clinical Pilates groups (maximum of 6 people)where we can work together in real time, with careful observation and individual guidance.

I am now enrolling for Live Online Beginner Clinical Pilates, delivered in very small groups (maximum of 6 participants).

These sessions provide a carefully structured and highly individualised introduction to Pilates, with real-time teaching, observation and precise, appropriate correction throughout.

This specialist approach is particularly suitable for those who:
• are new to Pilates
• prefer a more clinical and professionally guided environment
• would like to work in a small, calm group
• have injuries, medical conditions or specific concerns that require a more individual level of care

Numbers are intentionally limited to maintain the quality of teaching and personal attention.

Daytime and early evening sessions available.

Prior to enrolment, I arrange a brief telephone consultation so we can discuss your health history, any current issues, and ensure the group is appropriate for you.
