WE NEED TO STOP SEARCHING IN THE WRONG PLACES.

We’re here for a good time, not a long time, right?

So for god’s sake man stop missing out on 95% of your life to be 5% body fat.

Stop focussing on abs or getting ‘toned’ in hope of the side effect of confidence and self worth.

Instead go to the root. Learn to let go of bu****it beliefs instilled upon us from this capitalistic society.

Learn to focus on TRUE self development, and TRUE health and wellbeing and I can guarantee you, you will get what you TRULY want, you will get the self worth, the confidence, the feeling and knowing of being enough PLUS the side effect being a healthier looking body.

For a hell of a lot us, that is how we truly win.

Not too long ago I could never have a burger or a beer or whatever, without feeling an incredible amount of guilt and regret. I so badly craved and desired abs, so much of my self worth dictated on if my abs were showing or not. Crazy! - there were a lot more unhealthy habits than just this believe you me. (Going to go more into my journey over the upcoming days)

Now, I have worked on myself correctly(I still am working on myself every single day, the work never stops).

I’ve let go of pressures from social media and society; i’ve let go of conditioned, outdated, limiting beliefs.

I’ve stopped searching in the wrong places.

Now I focus on health and well-being.

I focus on TRUE self development.
And I can safely say I am in the best shape of my life, mentally, physically and emotionally.

I ask you to take a step back and reflect, are you searching in the wrong places?

Be thankful for the tough times, they force you to seek and search and take huge leaps of growth.

You rarely grow from the comfort zone.

Ask yourself if you want to be comfortable or grow.

Wellness and wellbeing is our right.

our natural state is health, wellness and peace.

Now of course it’s unrealistic to feel good all the time.

However if there are prolonged periods where you aren’t feeling good, where you don’t have positive wellbeing, then something is out of balance and alignment.

It’s incredibly important to be kind and compassionate towards yourself, especially in the current circumstances.

However ensure you aren’t using that as an excuse to become complacent and procrastinate as this can lead to anxiety, stress, low mood, so on, so on.

Take ownership and take the steps in the right direction.

Balance kindness and compassion with discipline and putting in the work. That’s how you win 💡

To anyone out there struggling realise this, with every day, every minute, every moment, you’re that bit closer to being where you want to be, to feeling how you want to feel.

So keep your eyes and ears open, and look out for all the lessons along the way.

We tend not to grow as fast when things are all fine and dandy. However, from the downs and the lows, if you’re aware, you can take giant, giant leaps.

Keep your heads up and eyes open beautiful people ☀️🌏👯‍♀️🧠💪🏼

It’s February 8th, how much closer are you towards your health, fitness + wellbeing goals than January 1st?

I understand we’re living in an incredibly disconnected time.

Which is why it’s super important to put extra focus into your health + wellbeing.

Whatever helps you achieve connection in your life. Do it.

Getting out in nature, spending quality time with a loved one, getting a sweat on with some exercise, eating proper nutritious food, mediation, yoga. Whatever it may be.

How many times do you get it done and regret it? Never.

And so what if the circumstances aren’t perfect. So what if you can’t take giant leaps and go at 100mph. Progression is progression. Small steps forward is better than standing still.

Stop putting so much pressure on yourself, stop comparing yourself. You’re on YOUR journey, decide to make a positive step in the right direction.

Raise your vibration, it’s what the world needs right now.

Am I happy all the time? Absolutely f**king not.
Am I motivated all the time?
Absolutely f**king not.
Am I positive all the time?
Again... absolutely.. f**king not.

It’s incredibly unrealistic to expect to be in a positive state all the time.

Not only is it unrealistic, buts it’s dangerous. It’s an absolute negative to expect to feel positive all the time.
And paradoxically accepting negative experiences and states is a positive in itself.

Accept it’s ok to feel the way you do. There are NO wrong feelings. Accept that sh*t, it gets a hell of a lot lighter when you do!

Let go of expectations, stop chasing happiness and accept negative experiences.

You want true peace? Learn to live in the present moment with zero judgment.

Once you learn to become fully connected in the present moment with no judgement, you’re liberated, you win.

Practice mindfulness. Make a conscious effort to be in environments that help you feel connected. Activities, people, exercise, meditations. Do whatever it is that works for you!

We’re all feeling the strain right now and now is as important time as ever to put your effort and energy into whatever sources it may be that help you feel connected!

Self love and self care is doing the s**t you know is going to be good for you. Even when you don’t necessarily want to.

Do you ever prepare and eat a healthy meal and after think... why did I do that?
Do you ever go for a walk and after think... why did I do that?
Do you ever connect with an incredible, amazing friend and after think... why did I do that?

No. No you don’t.

I understand we’re all feeling the stress and the strain right now. I really, really do. But it’s incredibly important to push yourself to do things that you know WILL benefit your mind, body and soul.

Look after yourself. It’s important.
