Results after one session and home practice: 5 month old Husky pup, Princess: Comes when called. Less jumping. Nipping under control. Fully house trained.

But here's what really matters: Pamela went from stressed - due to exuberant young pup peeing in the house, jumping up and nipping her 7 year old - to confident in training that works. That's what this is about. If you are struggling with your excitable pup or teen dog, dm me and let's talk about how I can do the same for you.

🐾 Your dog doesn't wake up each morning planning to frustrate you.

They're not trying to make your walks difficult.
They're not trying to embarrass you when visitors arrive.
They're not trying to ignore you when you call them.
They're simply repeating behaviours that have become habits.
The truth is that many behaviour problems don't begin because dogs are stubborn or dominant.

They develop because the rules are unclear, boundaries are inconsistent, or nobody has shown the dog what is and isn't acceptable.
And that's where things can change.
How you live with your dog every day is the foundation for how they learn.
The behaviours you allow.
The behaviours you interrupt.
The boundaries you maintain.
The standards you set.
All of these things shape the dog you live with.

If you're struggling with pulling on the lead, jumping up, barking, poor manners, selective hearing, or simply feeling as though your dog isn't listening, don't underestimate the power of small daily changes.

Consistency beats intensity every time.
That's why I've created a free guide:

Reactive dogs are one of the most misunderstood areas of dog behaviour.

Not every barking, lunging dog is “aggressive”.

Some are desperately frustrated because they want to get to other dogs.
Some are fearful and trying to keep themselves safe.
Some are overstimulated and have never learnt how to stay calm around excitement.
Some are simply living lifestyles that do not match what they were bred to do.

And behind many reactive dogs is an owner who feels exhausted, embarrassed, judged and completely overwhelmed.

I see so many people trying their absolute best after spending months watching videos, reading Facebook advice and trying every harness and gadget under the sun, yet still dreading walks every day.

That is why I’ve written this blog post.

It talks honestly about:
• why dogs become reactive
• why some training advice falls apart in real life
• how owner confidence affects dogs more than people realise
• why handling skills matter so much
• why there is no one-size-fits-all approach

Most importantly, it explains why reactive dog owners deserve proper support rather than judgement.

If walks with your dog currently feel stressful, you are definitely not alone and you don't have to do it all on your own.❤️

Photos below are of a few current, or former, reactive client dogs.

"She's been like a completely new dog already"

New client's text after session 1. Her beautiful 5 month old Husky pup, Princess, was growing - and the jumping, nipping, and charging at her mum and the kids during play was getting out of hand.

It was delightful to see how much this boisterous young dog and her mum wanted to learn. We used a clicker for commands as the artificial sound can really focus attention in busy little dog minds! Why wait to start recall? We started right away and Princess and her family loved this new game which they got busy practising!

If your adolescent dog is getting out of hand - book a free consultation call now - the longer you wait the harder it gets to fix! I only take 8 clients per month – programmes start at 4 sessions with Weekly Zoom coaching calls, daily Whatsapp support, session videos & pics, and a personalised training plan, training lead and treat pouch. It's not just your dog that needs training. You do too. This is what happens when you're willing to learn. Great owners, great dog! Why are you waiting? Your adolescent dog needs training too!😍

Standard Poodles, Blossom and Willow couldn’t be walked by their mum due to reactivity and leash pulling and they weren’t great with dad either. This is how things looked after working with me yesterday - usually the focus was on Willows reactive behaviour but we had both poodles going through some moves in session 5. Their mum got the courage up to take both dogs out on her own and was delighted with the result. Getting that text message right after was golden.🏆🐾👍
