Reactive dogs are one of the most misunderstood areas of dog behaviour.

Not every barking, lunging dog is “aggressive”.

Some are desperately frustrated because they want to get to other dogs.
Some are fearful and trying to keep themselves safe.
Some are overstimulated and have never learnt how to stay calm around excitement.

New client's text after session 1. Her beautiful 5 month old Husky pup, Princess, was growing - and the jumping, nipping, and charging at her mum and the kids during play was getting out of hand.

It was delightful to see how much this boisterous young dog and her mum wanted to learn. We used a clicker for commands as the artificial sound can really focus attention in busy little dog minds!
