What an inspiring afternoon celebrating women in netball and England Netball’s centenary year at the National ONE Awards 2026! 🌟

Back in July, our very own Kaylla was recognised at the East Midlands Regional Awards for her Outstanding Contribution to Netball, earning her a place amongst the 28 regional winners from across 9 regions put forward for the national award.

Today, she represented GD Netball Club on a national stage, alongside some truly incredible people from across our sport.

Whilst she didn’t take home the national award, she was named one of just three highly commended nominees — an incredible achievement from a field of 28 regional winners.

And what makes this recognition so special to us as a club is the room she was standing in - A room filled with women who have dedicated years, and in many cases their lives, to netball. Current Roses players. Coaches. Volunteers. Role models. People who have shaped and inspired our sport.

And amongst all of that incredible experience and contribution was GD Netball Club 💚 Thank you England Netball for a great afternoon 👏
