unites….. Our played B18 in Limerick today. This is the first time that Ukraine has participated in an event - welcome to the family! Fantastic to meet you and hopefully there will be plenty more matches in the future!

NOAH JONES, 18, former Lincoln Touch player, finally earned his first England Touch caps at the AYTC Atlantic Youth Touch Cup after a few years of setbacks with injuries. He first started playing Touch for Lincoln in 2020 before moving on to Nottingham Touch, then Norfolk Nomads, and Norwich Rebels. He also played and coached in Thailand last summer.

Noah never got to meet the legend Mike Beard, founder of Lincoln Touch, before his passing in 2015. But he learned all about Mike’s legacy at Lincoln Touch, so when he received his England kit for the AYTC early this month, he was thrilled to be handed the #8 vest—the very number Mike wore at Lincoln Touch.

Huge congratulations to Noah. From humble beginnings in Lincoln, he’s following in the footsteps of so many original Touch players who’ve gone on to represent England.

10 years ago today, we lost a great great man, Mike Beard. He may be gone, but he will never be forgotten he will always be in our thoughts and hearts at Lincoln, touch everytime we put on our shirts, and play the sport we love it's because of what Mike did to bring this sport into our lives and our city. Forever our leader, coach, and friend. ❤️
