What a fantastic season for our Women’s 2nd Team! Despite some seriously scorching conditions, the girls showed incredible determination, team spirit and resilience throughout.

🏌️‍♀️ vs Notts, Norwood Park: 3–6 LOSS
🏌️‍♀️ vs Leicestershire, Kibworth: 5.5–3.5 WIN 🎉

The final match was a must-win to secure our place in the Finals, and the team delivered when it mattered most!

A huge congratulations to Emma Wood, Yasmin Bass, Liz Haughton, Beth Gough, Poppy Sinclair, Poppy Edgar, Emilia Carter, Bella Lowery and Ava Allenby. 👏 What a team!

A special mention to our rookies Ava, Emilia and Bella, who all stepped up brilliantly, and to Poppy Sinclair for returning to the team in style with two wins! ⭐

What an outstanding achievement and a true reflection of all the hard work, dedication and countless hours of practice she’s put into her golf. The countdown is on for the final competition of the season as we head to the fantastic Branston Golf Club on Monday 17th August 2026 for the Midlands North Region Festival of Golf!

With three exciting competitions on offer, there’s something for everyone:

🏆 Handicap Team Competition – for our handicap team players
🏆 9-Hole Competition – open to players of all handicap levels
