October is the month of breast cancer awareness. Breast cancer is a very important subject to talk about and shouldn’t be unspoken.
-breast cancer is the most common cancer diagnosis for women in the UK.
-1 in 7 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.
-around 160 people are diagnosed with breast cancer everyday in the UK.
On Tuesday at training we wore pink to spread awareness of breast cancer, on Thursday we had a talk from our Georgia about breast cancer, how to spot it early and how to seek medical help. We then watched mean girls together with pink clothes, comfies and blankets.
Breast cancer awareness is important, medicine is developing and more people are surviving. Check yourself, get medical help and don’t be turned away for wanting help. Us women are strong, proud and we can help support and donate to breast cancer research.🩷🌸🎀
